went to the Keane show on monday....WOWZY.... Keane was great live...very impressive.... but i must tell you kids about the opening bands.... The Redwalls.....these boys were crazy....i loved them the most... reminded me a bit of the strokes mixed with some crazy dylan... kinda 70's rock sounding....great shit....check it out
The Zutons... you may have heard thier song pressure on the radio but i never had.... so i had no idea what was coming... they have a chick sax player in thier band first of all.... they were insane and fun to groove to... definetly have thier own sound....check them out too
and of course check out Keane if you havn't yet ....and the killers

i, too, went to the keane show on monday . . . you see, Bre and I went together. "inconceivable," you may say, but please believe.
i must say that even though keane was the headliner, they really took a back seat to the opening bands . . . i really liked the Redwalls . . . Bre describes them as Strokes mixed with Bob Dylan, which I would agree with, but I would have to also throw in the Beatles and 60s pop-rock in general . . . oh yeah, and a little Rolling Stones
the Zutons = pretty good. their "pressure point" song isn't anything to hoot about, but their other shazzle is kinda cool . . . esp. "zuton fever" and "dirty dancehall" . . . these guys are kinda unique, and their lead guitarist looks almost exactly like Frank Zappa
well now I'm gonna go drink a Hamm's
