perhaps more stickers. like last year at armstrong when they were on all those lockers...that got the word out. whenever i talk about quietdrive at school it seems people actually know what im talking about from the stickers. so...stickers. more stickers. everywhere.

I think we should try and get more people to flyer local and national shows, as much as it sucks to be out in the cold, it is very effective... Not just in getting people to come to shows, but then more people will here of quietdrive and when they here about them again they will recognize the name. Especially now that we've got a damn sexy quietdrive chicken

Who hasnt heard of "The Quietdrive Chicken" its the koolest chicken out there, it kicks all the other chickens arse! We should have flyers of the QuietDrive Chicken, other then that a good way of promoting Quietdrive could be is having a bunch of people go on the internet to chats/aims/sites/ and try to spread The Quietdrive Movement. I think a really good thing thats been working is getting more people to call 93x!

Flyering is always effective!
Try finding some sites that do interviews with the band, and link bands. You'd be amazed how many people, new people, new faces, new potential fans, just come wondering in.
I don't really know the guys, but if they party it up like I do. Always have an acoustic guitar in your trunk of the car, and bust out an acoustic show right in the middle of the party you'd be suprised how many people sit there in awe. Be ready to be bumbarded by tons of people just asking tons of questions, but talk to them, Everyone is good people when you're promoting.
Sitting up at Kinkos while making flyers, or if you're an idiot like I was making your demo and cutting paper... do that shit all there, and leave a few scraps out.
Go do something no one would expect and set up an acoustic night at a coffee house, you'll get every age range.
I dunno some of these ideas might be out the door, cause there small things but very effextive, but I think Quietdrive might be having rabid fans foaming at the mouth and condensed in a small cramped soffee shop.
Book a show at the Fireball cafe, this is a place where you should rake in tons of friends, and new friends, new faces, this is a great place to get people there, play for them get them interested, and they will continue to follow, almost with every venure and place you play obviously you do the same thing.
Just think of something original that no ones done, I've got a couple in my head, but they might just be too extreme, but their also just little secrets just waiting to combust at any partibular moment.
Do a give away at a show, People getting free something, beers always good, at 21+ shows, could be a pretty penny though.
It takes time, but it seems this band is growing no matter what, so, I think it might just be best put as:
"If you build it they will come!" Well people are coming so, I don't think you have anything to worry about! JUST RAWK! HAVE FUN!

Very good ideas lads and lasses, let's keep em coming. I know a lot of you want to help but don't know how. Flyering and helping hand out samplers is a huge thing that we always need help with. Feel free to send me an email or give me a call and let me know that you're interested. If you're signed up for the street team already, we're going to start sending out a calendar of events to flyer and any of those are open to anyone who wants to help.
The biggest way you can help is by spreading the word on Quietdrive. Tell all of your friends, play the CD in your car, play it at parties and then if people dig the music, invite them to a show. Followings are built best when they are built grass roots style, and that is the key to taking what we're all a part of here and now and bringing it to the next level. Rawk on ya'll -Droo

Hey guys,
Yo, yous all should try and send a demo of the goods to the radio stations up here in Duluth. Either try the UMD station or X106. It'd be hella sweet to hear that stuff on the local stations.
Peace out,
C-Man

Tell me what you think of this idea, for my demo, I'm going to make some flyers, and attatch a sucker.
The flyer will read something about: "Are you a sucker for acoustic?" Blah blah blah Demo out NOW! Show when? We'll see!
I dunno how Requim will be. We'll probably have some songs ready soon.
Blue Attic Corner will still remain, on the side of my hopefull new project.
